My Story

Hello, I’m Kathy Wheeler, designer and founder of K. Elizabeth Jewelry — and I create jewelry for women exactly like you.

Growing up in Florida, I spent my childhood climbing through philodendrons and banyan trees, exploring the lush wonder of Fairchild Tropical Gardens and Parrot Jungle. On weekends in the Florida Keys, I’d search for tiny sea creatures in the seagrass while my parents fished under the bridges.

Those early moments surrounded by the vibrant energy of nature still guide everything I create. Now living on the California coast, I continue to draw from both land and sea — blending botanical and marine forms with natural gemstones to craft pieces that celebrate life’s adventures and our connection to the earth.

Each design is more than an accessory; it’s a talisman for the curious spirit — a reminder to stay open to the beauty and freedom that surround us every day.

Making a Difference, One Piece at a Time

I believe our passions have the power to create change. That’s why I partner with Unchained, a local non-profit that pairs at-risk youth with abandoned dogs. Together, they learn trust, empathy, and the joy of second chances. Watching those young trainers beam with pride as their dogs find forever homes is a reminder of the transformation that happens when compassion meets purpose.
